In accordance with the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council, Shanghai has launched an Appointment-based Covid-19 vaccination for foreigners.
Starting from March 29th, 2021, the city will include the age-appropriate foreigners in Shanghai into the program of getting the domestically-developed COVID-19 vaccine (in the marketing stage) on the basis that they are informed, voluntary, willing to be inoculated at their own costs, and bear corresponding risks.
Foreigners in Shanghai who wish to receive the vaccine can register online via Jiankang Yun ( Health Cloud) Platform to receive the required two doses. Foreigners covered by China’s medical insurance are entitled to the same treatment as that of the insured Chinese citizens. Those who are not insured should bear the cost of RMB 100 per dose of vaccine.
Starting from March 29th, 2021 to make a vaccination appointment, please scan the following attached QR Code, access the service page for Foreigners in Shanghai to get the COVID-19 vaccine on Jiankang Yun Platform, and fill in your information. In case the booking is successful, the applicant will receive a text message confirming the date, time, and venue for vaccination.
NOTE: “Health Cloud” APP and appointment text messages might be written in Chinese. Foreigners who are unable to read Chinese can seek assistance from Chinese friends.
Take your Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card, Passport, or valid Residence permit to the vaccination venue on the confirmed date. The vaccine will be administered at Designated vaccination sites. Before inoculation, foreigners might be required to sign an Informed Consent Form, a Waiver of Liability Form etc. Please ensure your personal protection and be proactive by providing information about your health status to the on-site medical professionals to make it easy for them to decide whether or not you are eligible for inoculation.
Please pay close attention to your health status within 14 days after inoculation and promptly go to the hospital for medical advice in case of any SERIOUS adverse reactions to the vaccine.

You can scan the QR Code only after March 29th, 2021 to make an appointment.
